I researched the Omega VRT350 and compared it with the Omega J8006 before I decided to get this model. I chose this juicer because it is sleek enough as a permanent countertop fixture and takes up less space than the J8006 model. What I liked about this masticating juicer is the self feeding mechanism that allows you to drop your produce into the chute without the need of a plunger.
I wanted a reliable juicer that would equally work for vegetables and fruits and the Omega Vert 350HD works just like that. It is easy to use; taking the juicer apart and putting it back together are a snap. Additionally the clean up is also simple. I just use the included brush to clean the pulp from the screen, which takes less than 3 minutes.

I drink two different kinds of juices and all that needs to be done is to empty the pulp container to make room for more. I was amazed at how dry the pulp was which means I am getting the most juice out of each fruit and vegetable.
Carrots, spinach, apples, blackberries, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, pears are the fruits and vegetables that we have juiced so far and it has all worked perfectly. I was happiest to discover juicing the clementines which are like tangerines without seeds. I got a nice juice from it which wasn’t pulpy at all. All of the juices are smooth I am very happy with my purchase.
Here are some of the great features of the Omega Model VRT350 Juicer:
- High efficiency masticating juicer in a vertical design
- Processing speed of 80 RPMs juicing prevents oxidation and degradation of juice product
- Fine and coarse screens for pulp control
- Capable of juicing wheatgrass at high yield
- Auto cleaning system
- Compact and contemporary design

This electric juicer machine is compact and takes up very little counter space, so I’m inclined to leave it out all the time. Putting it together was easy right out of the box; after using it dozens of times it takes about 1 minute.
The juicer has only one switch for on, off and reverse. It comes with a plunger, but I’ve never had to use that. Juicing is quick, too, as well as quiet. Two baskets are included, one for fine pulp and one for coarse pulp. The pulp that comes out is almost dry. If I want to extract any remaining juice, I just re-feed the pulp into the machine.
The juicer performs well for fruit, vegetables and leafy greens. The extracted juice is very concentrated, but that can be diluted by running a bit of water through the juicer. Running a little water through the juicer will also provide some advance flushing out of pulp particles before cleaning.
Clean-up is a breeze, taking around 5 minutes from disassembly to finished wash. I usually put a dish-tub in the sink with hot water and detergent before I start juicing, then simply plop everything in the tub when I’m done to wash up later. That way I can take a few minutes later in the day to wash, rinse, and stack in the dish drainer, and everything is ready for me to quickly assemble next time I want to make juice.
I highly recommend this compact, well-built juicer. It can handle just about any fruit or vegetable you want to run through it. It is also easy to assemble, disassemble, and clean. It is well worth the price.
Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Omega VRT350 Juicer:
I used to own a centrifugal juicer many years ago and found this juicer to be the best. It is really easy to clean. It actually takes 3 minutes or so to clean. I did try wheatgrass and also did alternate from leafy greens to carrots.
Overall we are very happy with the machine. The plastics in the machine are high tech. The black center feeder that crushes the fruits/veggie is GE designed plastics and the filter has super strong plastics that is 6 times stronger then the previous generation.
I don’t think there is another machine comparable with the ease of use and ease of clean up. (Franky222)
